Terms of use

These terms apply when you use riddleportal.com, including its free samples, game companions and host screens. Please stop using the site if you don't accept them. For users in Poland, they are also the regulations required by art. 8 of the Act of 18 July 2002 on providing services by electronic means.

RiddlePortal is run by Michał Sadurski. You can reach us at [email protected].

What the site provides

The following are free and need no account: pages about our products, guides, free sample PDFs, game companions, host screens and the link that pairs a phone with a host screen. The agreement to use them starts when you open a page and ends when you close it, which you can do at any time.

This site doesn't sell anything. Our PDFs are sold on Etsy and our paperbacks on Amazon, and each store's own terms apply to a purchase there. Our returns page covers problems with an Etsy order.

What you need

A current web browser and an internet connection. Game companions and host screens also need JavaScript turned on, and pairing a phone needs both devices online. For a free sample, you need a PDF reader, plus a printer if you want it on paper.

What you may not do

You may not use the site or its phone relay to send unlawful content, or try to break, overload or get around its security.

Copyright

The text, puzzles, images and code on this site belong to us or to those who license them to us. You may print a free sample as many times as you need for your own family or class. You may not sell it or pass on the file. Files you buy come with the personal-use license stated in their listing.

Links to stores

Our links to Etsy go through Etsy's Share & Save program. If you buy after clicking one, Etsy may refund part of its fee to us. You pay the same price either way. RiddlePortal is independent of Etsy and Amazon, and neither runs or endorses this site.

Availability and liability

We provide the site free of charge and as it is. We may change or withdraw any page or tool at any time. Companions and host screens save progress only in your browser, so clearing its data or changing device loses that progress.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by using the site or by its being unavailable. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer or any liability that the law does not let us exclude.

Complaints

Email us at the address above and tell us what went wrong. We will answer within 14 days.

Governing law

Polish law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can use the courts the law gives you.

Changes

If these terms change we will update the date at the top of the page. The new version applies from that date.
