Printable nonogram puzzle books.

A4 is narrower and taller than US Letter. The gap is small, and it is still enough to push a clue column off the edge when a page drawn for one sheet is sent to the other. Every book here carries both files, so you take the one that matches the paper in your tray and ignore the other.

Each is drawn with its margins already set. The grid, the clue columns and the puzzle number sit inside the printable area of an ordinary home printer, and the page needs no scaling to get there.

Set your print dialog to 100%, or Actual size, depending on which one you are in. That single setting is the difference between a full-size grid and a shrunken one, and printing at home walks through where each program hides it.

Every page is line art: black rules, black digits, white everywhere else. There is no grey to lay down and no panel to flood, which is why a fifty puzzle book runs off a home printer for so little ink, and why a budget laser makes as good a job of it as an inkjet.

Solutions live at the back of the book rather than opposite each puzzle, so a page turn gives nothing away and you can send only the puzzle pages to the printer. The Halloween volume packs its fifty answers onto five overview pages, which is why that book runs to 59 sheets.

The licence is personal use. Print a puzzle as many times as you like for yourself, your family or your classroom, print one grid twice so two people can race it, and do not resell the pages.
