A printed Halloween nonogram on a wooden table with autumn leaves and a coffee

A 30×30 grid is a different kind of solve. There is more of it, so the early clues give you more to work with, and the difficulty comes out of the picture rather than a difficulty setting. A shape with irregular edges leaves you short runs and ambiguity in the middle rows, and you finish it by cross-referencing columns you already trust.

The three tablet editions are 107 pages and hyperlinked. Tap the index to reach a puzzle, tap Answer for its solution, tap Back to return, with a full solution page for each puzzle.

The two print editions are 59 pages, laid out to the sheet so nothing is cropped at the margins, with the answers collected at the back on five overview pages. That keeps the printing down if you are running these off for a class or a party.

Every puzzle 30×30.

Difficulty comes from the picture rather than the grid: 18 easier pictures, 28 in the middle, and 4 that take a while.

Is this the right one?

  • You want seasonal puzzles that are still puzzles.
  • You are printing for a group and do not want 107 pages per person.
  • A picture at the end appeals more than a pattern.
